When you use UC Wrapped, we collect the following information:

• Email address — used to sign you in and identify your account
• Discord username — if you choose to sign in with Discord
• Academic data — GPA, transfer units, community college, schools applied to, majors, and decision outcomes you voluntarily submit
• Usage data — basic information about how you interact with the site (pages visited, actions taken)

We do not collect any data you do not explicitly provide.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your data solely to:

• Authenticate your account and maintain your session
• Store and display your transfer cycle and Wrapped output
• Generate aggregate, anonymized statistics shown on the site (e.g. overall acceptance rates, school breakdowns)
• Improve the product

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

3. What We Share

We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.

Your data is shared only with third-party infrastructure providers necessary to operate UC Wrapped — including authentication, database, and hosting services. These providers process your data solely to deliver their services and are contractually bound to protect it.

We do not grant any third party the right to use your data for their own purposes.

4. Your Academic Data

GPA, school choices, and decision outcomes are sensitive. A few things to know:

• This data is tied to your account and not publicly visible by default
• When you generate and share your Wrapped, only the information included in your share card is made public — you control what appears on it
• Aggregate statistics displayed on the site are anonymized and never attributed to individual users

5. Data Retention

Your account and associated data are retained for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us at the address below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

6. Cookies and Sessions

UC Wrapped uses cookies strictly for authentication and session management. No tracking, advertising, or third-party analytics cookies are used.

7. Children's Privacy

UC Wrapped is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe a minor has submitted data, contact us and we will remove it promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of UC Wrapped after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
